Tributes paid to Andy King at St Luke's

The funeral of Andy King took place in the shadow of Goodison Park yesterday, with hundreds of Blues lining the streets to pay their respects.

The Liverpool Echo covered the occasion at which club legends like Howard Kendall and Peter Reid paid tribute to an Everton hero of the 1970s who died unexpectedly of a heart attack last week aged just 58.

Jumping off the subject a little so apologies beforehand, after retro days and other match day events, I really hope we have an Andy King day so that others can give King the send off he deserves and celebrate the day carrying on the great memories he gave us.
