That’s a perfect kick off time. Hopefully The Springy, Oak, Brick, Lulu's etc will be doing a roaring trade from midday onwards.

The return of the Bear Pit?

Let’s hope by the time we play this tie we are firing on all fronts and Howard and Stones haven’t worked their way back into favour. Hopefully also no need for Kone, and no injuries.

No fear against Chelsea and we have a real go at them.

Best time possible without doubt.

Let's hope it makes a big difference to getting to Wembley.

Regarding the takeover, I wouldn’t be too surprised if it was already done but there had been an agreement to keep it quiet until the season has ended, or at least until the big games are out of the way to avoid distractions.

Great kickoff time. The place will be rocking.

I’m thinking the same, Helen: why is no news at all. Absolutely nothing for a couple of weeks. Hope it's a case of "no news is good news."

Suits me fine this kick off time. The atmosphere, for once, should be top draw too.

Hopefully see us win, get home from the match then have my usual Saturday night piss-up afterwards.

The Beer always tastes better after a win.

Is this takeover the reason why Everton are not releasing details of season ticket prices? Last year's announcements was on Feb 6th.

Great time for the kick off, Goodison should be rocking by that time. Regarding the take over, was speaking to mate at the West Brom game. He spends most games now in the directors box and he reckons its a done deal. Nothing concrete but he was saying its definitely happening. Hopefully exciting times ahead

Of all the dates and times available, this was the best we could get. Get right into them.

No way the sale will go through whilst Everton are still in the cup!

Yeah kind of makes sense. Would be a massive distraction if it was announced while still in the cup. I wonder who bought Niasse? Was that bankrolled by the new owners? Can't really see our board splashing out if the sale of the club was imminent..

Joe (#16), I get your point but the valuation of the club by both parties would include playing assets and cash at hand.

Kenwright & Co are going to make off like bandits with any sale anyway. You won’t see them at a food bank anytime soon.

But at least he’s a Blue etc.

Couldn’t be better. Not for one moment am I advocating alcohol-fuelled aggression, but a good few beers beforehand and get the old girl bouncing...

Great timing – exactly what I hoped for – all fired up...but>>>

Can someone fucking tell me how an Evertonian living 260 miles away can gets tickets for this match. What are the ’pre-requisites’? I have spent about £900 going to 3 matches this year (2 tickets each time) – not including cost of time off work, and get told I am not eligible, do not have pre-requisites or some bollocks.

Only supported the club for about 40 odd years. Not a s/ticket holder obviously.

I have NEVER been able to get to a game at Goodison with all my lads together – only away games in London.

Fucking modern game does my head in. Fuck, Fuck and Fuck again!!!
