Everton to play Man Utd in Rooney Testimonial
Everton have been chosen to play Manchester United on 3 August in Wayne Rooney's testimonial at Old Trafford..
Rooney has spent the past 12 seasons with United since making a controversial £27m move from Goodison Park and the club he supported as a boy .
The friendly, which is scheduled for 10 days before the start of the 2016-17 season, is expected to be Jose Mourinho's first game in charge at of the Red Devils at home. All the profits will go to four designated charities chosen by Rooney.

When you look at some of the prices, eg, Henderson £20 mil Allen £14 mil Di Maria £59 mil and names I can't even remember the Red Shite have bought for 8 figure sums. The mind boggles how Evertonians are quick to call our own.

Mike #15 we've been crying out for a "fat useless lump" who can score 20+ goals a season for nearly 30yrs. He's got a suspect attitude for sure but he's neither fat, useless or frankly a lump!!
