Henen preparing for another loan chance

David Henen is likely to be sent out on loan again when the transfer window opens in January according to a Belgian media source.

Sven Claes of Het Laatste Nieuws has tweeted that clubs in France and the Netherlands have registered their interest in taking the 20-year-old Belgian striker on a temporary basis to give him more first-team experience.

Henen, who was finally signed permanently from Olympiacos last year, spent time on loan from his previous club Anderlecht at Monaco in 2013-14 and had a spell at Fleetwood last season.

Henen needs to step it up asap if he's to break through.

Not had a sniff of the first team in serious competition at 20? Not looking too good for the lad.

How are the other on loan players getting on? Tarashaj scored for Eintracht Frankfurt against Bayern Munich last time out but quite a few players didn't get a game for their clubs, including Galloway and Garbutt. A recall for at least one of these?

Send him out to the Dutch league, they have lots of imports from Chelsea and Man City including Bertrand Traore currently at Ajax.

Seen Henen in the Milk cup.. Was thoroughly unimpressed.

Another Halam Hope.

Peter

I'm pretty sure we can't recall players now which is why Unsy said we'd be careful who we sent out. That said, why would we want to recall them? If Garbutt can't get a game at Wigan, presumably the numberless wonder wouldn't get a game at Everton either. Galloway, I thought, was an odd choice for a Pulis team but maybe they want a bit of Pulis to rub off on him with physicality, heading etc.
