Odds on that the usual suspects will be on TV then.

It's like a cartel.

Good. I'll be able to enjoy the post mortem afterwards and not worry about having to get up the next day for work.

Yeap, Liverpool will be shown live on the BBC, every year it's the same.

You cannot beat a plain old traditional Saturday 3:00pm kick off. So let's hope that Koeman and the team decide to turn up.

Why has Koeman to turn up? Because, if he decides to treat the FA Cup with the same disdain that he treated the League Cup, then we are out.

Maybe Leicester will be thinking of other competitions. Maybe they might give the players who were stuffed the other night another run out. But would we beat that team? I don't know ...Who knows?

We will probably draw Chelsea away should we beat The Foxes.

Did you ever get the feeling that this is not going to be our season... I have since the Norwich defeat.

No reserve team, Koeman... Let's go for this.

Prefer to play 3pm Saturday than Friday or Monday night.

Liam @1 Yes, both red teams on TV even though they are home to lower league opposition. Having said that, a good old Saturday 3:00 is good for our fans, especially travelling ones.

Unbelievable. Just seen the BT Live FA Cup line-up...Liverpool v Newport! Must be a special showing for their fan club paid for by our subscriptions.

I get a bit peed off by conspiracy theories about all those vested interests lined up against Everton. But I'm gobsmacked at this one. Liverpool v Newport a top game? Gotta laugh. I mean, Newport, okay (having lived there once!). But the other lot?

It all helps to inflate the Sky/BT chosen one's coffers too, Karl, which is the only reason I even show any concern about the TV football schedule.

I wish Everton could stick two fingers up at the the TV companies and tell them we don't want the cameras at Goodison, but of course Everton FC – along with all the other 'greedy' clubs – have sold their souls to the moguls.

Yes, Patrick, we can't be too critical of Sky and BT – we sup with the devil.

After today's performance by both teams, we're not going into the third round with much confidence!

Another barren year of silverware and still another 18-20 points to secure our status! Isn't it great to be an Evertonian at present?

As long as Newport get a healthy sum for being on TV, I have no problem with this choice. Having seen them go bust many years ago I am glad that they will get some cash injection. Bottom of the league and needing something to cheer.

Next, people will say that they don't deserve to have any legends cos they ain't won the league or the cup!!
