I live in Johannesburg and will fly up on Thursday to watch the game.

I will be staying in Dar es Salaam on Thursday night and was hoping to have a few beers with some Evertonians.

If anyone is aware of a particular hotel where I will find some Evertonians, please be kind enough to post. Many thanks.

I won't be going after finding out my cheapest return ticket would be over £800 and the flight, with a change would take something like 19 hours.

Hope it's on the telly!

The club have been very helpful.

Hi Philip,

Thanks for getting in touch. Not a problem, I can confirm that I have registered you for a complimentary ticket for the Everton V Gor Mahia fixture taking place at the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Thursday 13 July, 5pm kick off (local time). Please note that you will be the lead booking for the ticket.

All match tickets will need to be collected at the Stadium on the day of the fixture from Gate A at the National Stadium. There will be a branded Everton/SportPesa tent where my colleagues Christine and Rachel will be distributing ticket collections.

Please allow plenty of time to travel to the Stadium on the day as traffic around Dar es Salaam is always busy and we have been told that traffic around the stadium is going to be highly congested on matchday and will delay your arrival time for the match, possibly by upwards of 2hrs.

Also, our new sponsors, SportPesa, are laying on 10 free coaches to take Evertonians to the George and Dragon bar in Dar es Salaam after the game on tomorrow.

Fans will also be given a free drink on presentation of their match ticket. If you have any questions regarding this, please ask when collecting your match tickets.

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards,

Everton Football Club
