If Chelsea win the FA Cup, do we go into the Europa League?

No.

Two thoughts come to mind while watching the FA Cup final.

The first is, if you ever need evidence that the manager has a massive impact on the style of play of both individual players and the team, look no further than Mourinho. Sanchez since coming to Mourinho's more conservative and slow approach is a shadow of what we saw, even in a struggling Arsenal side. Same goes for Pogba and much of the Man Utd team. Everything is slow and methodical and, while it may get a lot of results, it is often horrible to watch.

The second is that Rashford has taken a massive step backward. Of course, my first observation might have a lot to do with that. But despite that, he looks absolutely lost. And that chance he completely missed at the end of the half... I hope we don't hear about any links with him over the Summer.

I would take Conte as manager in a heartbeat. Give him the funds and whatever he needs at Everton to try and win something.

Not a chance in hell Conte would come up North. His family wouldn't even move to London. He will be going back to Italy after this.

I noticed Lukaku's number came up on the subs board but I don't think he came on.

Anyone see/hear Gudjohnsens comments in the build up on footy focus? Been done to death now but he's another one who thinks we should be ashamed of what happened to SA. Lukaku and Barkley on the subs bench for a cup final and Barkley gets a winners medal by not even playing but thereagain I suppose Lukaku didnt really play even though he was on the pitch for 25 minutes.

On football, pleased for Conte. Yes, would have a motivator like him at this point in a heartbeat. I remember the last Euros (when he was already contracted to Chelsea) and how he got a relatively mediocre Italian squad so united and functioning. I believe he could do that with this squad. We have talented players who have lost the team ethic.

No argument about Rashford or any of the "other" United forwards but Lukaku was brought on to "get" them a goal and as such he failed to even make an impression.

And just to correct you – he last played on April 29th which is not being "out for a month injured".

And to think he left in order to win things... oh dear, what a shame, never mind, eh.

Some ridiculous comments on here re Lukaku. If he'd been with us last season instead of the alehouse No 10 Boys Pen Bill swapped him for, we'd have been in the top 6.

And Rashford's problem is he doesn't get enough games.

For all Man Utd's huffing & puffing, they created very little, and de Gea made the best two saves of the match, one early on from Hazard & the other late on from Alonso.

Boys Pen Bill will be sad one of his favoured teams drew a blank.

As for Ross, his time at Chelski shows just how good he really is.

This was probably the worst Cup Final in history, by two of the so-called 'Top Six' of the Premier League.

At least I got to see the Best Final ever in 1966 and to me the magic of the FA Cup will never fade
