Yesterday, 7 June, the powers that be at Uefa fined Besiktas €30,000 (£22,000) for a cat — yes, a cat! — running onto the field of play during their Champions League game vs Bayern Munich.
The same people fined the Russian Football Federation approximately €8,000 less for racist chants by their fans when they played France!
How can anyone, I ask, take this bunch of idiots seriously and trust them to look after and run our game properly???
