World Cup — Day 12
The final group-phase matches kick off on Day 12, with simultaneous kick-offs in Groups A and B, at 3pm and 7pm respectively.
Saudi Arabia and Egypt meet in Volgograd to see who gets the wooden spoon in Group A from which Russia and Uruguay have already qualified.
The hosts and the South Americans face off in the Samara Arena to determine who finishes as group winners and who takes second place.
Later in the day, Iran can knock reigning European champions Portugal out if they can beat them in Saransk. A draw would only be enough for the Iranians if Spain lose to Morocco in Kaliningrad.
Morocco are already out of contention but can still play a part in deciding who goes through to the next phase.

It simply has to be said on the Day 12 thread, there's never been a wilder or more crazy minute of sport than what we saw with the Spain-Morocco and Portugal-Iran games.
Felt terrible for Iran to be honest. They convert a dodgy penalty to put them into the knock-out, only to have Spain score almost immediately after.
Credit to Morocco and Iran. They showed the world the meaning of pride.
