First game I've watched in its entirety. This was a excellent performance throughout the team. Defensively solid. Sarajevo didn't really have any decent chances.

Midfield ran the show and the Attackers ran rings round their defence. The other noticeable thing was the tempo. They played with a real desire to put their opponents away and were relentless through to the end. It really could have been double figures.

Let's hope they can beat Burnley tomorrow (5pm KO) and bring home first silverware of the season. The Burnley coach is actually Danny Cadamarteri.

Doesn't seem like this tournament has been much of a test. Is there not anything more prestigious we could play in?

Alex, come on, mate, it's pre-season kickabouts.

The lads are U19 and doing well in a tourney abroad, isn't that a good thing?

Anthony @ 4

I agree. They can only put away what is put in front of them. First game from what I saw they were wasteful in the final third but since they have been dominant over the whole park.

I'll be logging in to the YouTube link having another look at what we are nurturing at U18s level

This has been a great opportunity for us to view what is in the academy.

Hopefully he's just gone home to pack his bags for the move to Merseyside, Jason. Nothing about him on the OS that I could find.

I read somewhere that Joshua Zirkzee had signed for Benfica, don't know if its true or not.. But they do pick good young players up then sell on at a big profit..

Hmmm, all seems to have gone quiet on this front. Let's just keep our fingers crossed..
