At least we won't be sitting back, trying to steal a point, but the defensive problems need to be addressed before these games.

Strange because the Chelsea game was already in my diary for 11th Nov at 2:15, on Sky. So no change?

And the Man Utd game was already down as a Sky game albeit for the Saturday.

What are we now accommodating here?

Brent, Chelsea have a Europa League game on the Thursday away in Belarus but, as you say, Chelsea away was always a Sunday because they went straight into the group stages.

The Man Utd game, I've no idea why it's changed from Saturday to Sunday? They play a Champions League game the Tuesday before so that wouldn't affect anything. The OS states "a change is due to a revision in the TV schedule".

Wish they were Monday nights.

Rob, I think it's due to Spurs having to shift their game to Wembley but they can't play it on the Sunday, because of a pre-arranged Wembley commitment to NFL, so poor old Sky were left a gap in their schedule and are moving the Man Utd v Everton game to fill it.

Has anyone seen that the Southampton cup game seems to be on Tuesday 25 September so we are having to play Sunday and Tuesday? Why can't the RS play Chelsea on the Tuesday?

Liam (#1),

I hope we finally get to win at one of these hoodoo grounds this season under Silva. (Maybe similarities from Martinez‘s first season with the win at Old Trafford?)

The day I finally see Everton leave Stamford Bridge with three points again, I think I'll dance down the street butt naked in daylight!

Jim; I'm sure you'll be reminded of that promise, if we win, lol!

I know everyone isn't fortunate enough to be fit enough to go or can't afford it but I hate fixtures being messed about like this.

I'm now praying for a loss at Chelsea, Jim!

Andy (6) It would not be the first time we have played Sunday & Tuesday. In 2009, we played Benfica in Lisbon on the Thursday, at Bolton on the Sunday and at Spurs in the League Cup on the Tuesday. Three away games in six days; three defeats.

Many of the fixture lists I have seen are showing all the Round 3 ties to be played the Tuesday. I think that is the default position until the powers that be sort out which matches will be televised. As far as I am aware, no announcement has been made as yet.

Jim I can imagine the headlines:

‘Toffees streak of genius reveals Moshiri's naked ambition' or similar?
