Middlesbrough U18s 3 - 2 Everton U18s

A close match which Everton lead 2-1 at the break ended up as cruel defeat to a goal in added time, dropping the side down to 3rd in the U18 Premier League.

Boro got off to a flying start, when they went in front after just five minutes. The young Blues hit back through the prolific Simms, the striker hitting his 27th goal of the season to make it 1-1 on 20 minutes.

Paul Tait's side went in front through Gordon 13 minutes later and looked set to secure a victory which would have seen them return to the top of the U18 Premier League (North) table.

But the home side won a penalty with a quarter of an hour left on the clock and Harry Tryer was sent off, before Gibson struck at the death to complete the comeback.
