Man City game set for 6 February

Everton's home game with would-be Champions Manchester City has been moved to Wednesday 6 February because of the Caraboa Cup Final on February 24.

The trip to Goodison Park was scheduled to take place on Saturday 23 February but, with Pep Guardiola's side booking their place in the Carabao Cup final the next day, they had to find a new date for the Premier League game against Everton.

The weeknight kick-off will be at 7:45 pm under the lights in Goodison Park, the game being broadcast live on BT Sport.

In the past, something to look forward too...

How can we forget 4-0 a couple of years ago?

Now... dread it. How many will Man City put past this woeful defence?

Don't we have two successive free weekends now then, on February 16th and 23rd?

Bloody hell... that's when you really start to feel getting knocked out of the Cup early again.

Get ready for the annual winter piss about in Dubai which somehow translates as "warm weather training".

Let's play all the remaining games next week and get this awful season over with.

Well, that's another game we'll get spanked but I won't be that arsed if it means the Red Shite don't win the league!

Bitter, blue and proud!

David (7)... don't put the U18s out. They may actually give Man City more of a game than the current first team!!

Jim, two successive weekends free after presumably three successive defeats in a week (Wolves, Man City and Watford). They'll all go to Dubai for some warm weather training, telling us how reinvigourated they are and to get back to winning ways... you know the rest.

Oh, a different date to the original? We'll likely get stuffed again on instead!! How interesting...

I'll be happy just to see some kind of effort being put on that game, it's Man City anyways, give 'em that Moyes spirit against 'em. COYB.

I wouldn't be too upset if we lacked focus and aggression for this one.

Bit late for us helping City out. Title race could be more or less over by 6th Feb, especially if City fail to beat Arsenal on Sunday.

Just give me a performance that warrants praise from the crowd.
