Leipzig lodge fresh bid for Lookman

Red Bull Leipzig aren't giving up on trying to sign Ademola Lookman from Everton, with the Daily Mail's website claiming that they have returned with an £18m offer.

Lookman spent the second half of last season on loan with the Bundesliga side and made an instant impression.

Leipzig's former sporting director and now team manager, Ralf Rangnick, has made no secret of his desire to acquire the 20-year-old on a permanent basis and says he has received encouragement from the player himself.

There are growing indications on Merseyside that Lookman is unsettled at Everton and wants to move to Germany but the Blues apparently want £20m for him.

While publicly they are adamant he is not for sale, privately Everton are said to be considering letting him go if he doesn't want to stay on Merseyside.
