Borussia Dortmund are reportedly aiming to poach another young English talent as they set sights on Anthony Gordon but Marco Silva has no interest in letting him go.

The Everton Under-23 starlet and England Under-18 international is highly regarded at Finch Farm and he has already made his first-team bow with a substitute's appearance at the end of the Europa League win over Apollon Limassol last December.

According to MailSport, the 17-year-old has caught the attention of Dortmund, who signed Jadon Sancho from Man City just over a year ago, and Bayern Munich, while Arsenal are also credited with interest.

The report claims, however, that Marcel Brands and Marco Silva are committed to retaining the best young players developed by the Academy, and they are expected to do everything possible to ensure the youngster stays at Everton.

That was backed up by Silva's comments during his press conference ahead of the weekend clash with Cardiff City.

"He's a really young player, a talent," the Portuguese said. "It's our goal to keep our best players, not just the ones playing in the first-team.

"If we want to grow and achieve something important, we have to keep our best players."
