Everton sound out Inter over Barbosa

Everton have reportedly made inquiries about signing Gabriel Barbosa on loan in the coming transfer window.

According to Italian transfer gossip site Tutto Mercato Web, the Blues want to bring the Brazilian striker to Goodison Park on a short-term deal with an option to buy next summer.

Barbosa has been with Inter Milan since 2016 but has only made nine starts for the Serie A side, spending a time on loan at Benfica and then his former club Santos in the interim.

Inter paid €30m for the 22-year-old and are said to be asking for half that to offload him but, according to Sport Witness, they're only interested in a permanent transfer.
