The lunchtime game at St Mary's saw another fine goal from young diver, Daniel James, but Jannik Vestergaard's towering header gave 10-man Southampton saw them steal a point.

There is a slate of six games at 3 pm with Chelsea playing Sheffield Utd and Man City at home to Brighton. Some tasty games at Leicester City, against Bournemouth and Newcastle vs Watford, while West Ham play Norwich and Crystal Palace take on Aston Villa

Brilliant own-goal by Zouma to put John Lundstram's Blades level with a minute to go at Stamford Bridge. (No Jagielka in the squad.)

Oh dear... Lampard with a face like a smacked arse!

Villa denied an equalizer... very controversial booking of Grealish, who was tripped, stumbled then dived as he laid off the ball to the scorer, Landsbury.

Another clear and obvious error not even referred to VAR. Utterly astounding nonsense.

Apparently Ashley Barnes battered Everton in a Burnley win last season.

Why does Carragher have to bring Everton into everything and make up shit??

And Burnley are doing everything to help the shite win. Dickheads.

Ian @ 5

Carragher talking shite as usual we best Burnley 5-1 away and 2-0 at home – no need to let the facts get in the way of the great man's opinions.

Another predictable yarn of a day, results-wise, with the same two runaway trains winning week-in & week-out (Man City and Liverpool).

The game is becoming boxed off more than ever now, I'd be amazed if it wasn't the same top two again this year, next year and the year after.

Oh for someone to do another Leicester someday.

Interesting fact: Everton have never come back from being behind and winning a game under Silva. Another very unwanted record which needs to be rectified.

Lincoln scored in the first minute the other night.

Bournemouth are on a run of two losses.

Their next game, yep you guessed it?

The football doctor, Everton, will be coming to a coastal town near you to cure all those recent woes... lol.

There's a place going a begging in that top four, so Marco, no time for faint hearts or playing safe, pick Kean up top and let's join the party.

Just a question: can anyone remind me how much we offered Chelsea for Zouma before the window closed?

David Luiz is just shit. He's awful.

Love the way Kane takes that penalty.

I loved the way Ampadu drove forward and passed it into the space for Abamyang to toe-poke home.

Meanwhile, in the German Bundesliga, our Kenny scores a wonder goal for Schalke in a 3-0 win against Hertha Berlin, the only goalscorer for Schalke this season - the other 2 goals were OGs. This after he gave away a penalty against Bayern last week. I will be watching him very closely this season, hope he goes on and does himself and Everton proud.
