Everton: Howard’s Way, the recent independent film release chronicling the story of how a great old club, led by one of its favourite sons, climbed to the top, against all odds, has been bringing back fond memories of the most successful spell in the Toffees’ history just before it was prematurely snatched away from them in the mid-1980s.

Howard’s Way has its own soundtrack, inclusive of music composed by Keith Mullin (Musician, The Farm), Steve Parker (PWL), Simon Britton (English record producer, songwriter and actor), Paul Mason, Mark Wainwright (Vile Assembly, internationally acclaimed Punk Rock band) and David Fehily (The Toffee Oracle).

Paul Mason’s voice has the unique characteristics required to effortlessly deliver this epic Everton tale with the stylistic authority reminiscent of those times, times when Howard Kendall’s band of brothers in blue ruled all of Europe.

The Toffee Collective, along with Toffee Films Ltd, partnering with Everton in the Community (EitC), are releasing the original music from the documentary, using the lead track ‘Everton Forever’, a song written about Howard Kendall, Everton and his class of ‘85. A percentage of proceeds from the single will be donated to EitC.

The single will be released through Red Rhythm Music, via Toffee Records, on 13 December 2019 and distributed by DeeVu Ltd, project managed by Simon Britton, Keith Mullin, Lee Rose and Paul Mason.

You can pre-order the single and score on iTunes or pre-save it on Spotify. You can also listen to the film’s soundtrack on Spotify.
