As you've probably noticed, the adjusted site design has been re-implemented after another round of code changes (and a pause to the end of October so my bandwidth overage charges weren't horrendous!).

A couple of sections that were in the previous new layout (the Blue Room, videos, and other podcasts) have been temporarily omitted but will be restored shortly.

The "edit" button for comments should now be functional again (it was broken for the previous 24 hours) but, as ever, please let me know, either by email or in the Comments below, if that or any other problems have presented themselves.

Looks pretty clean and well organized. Nice job, Lyndon.

The RECENT COMMENTS heading on the right sidebar has a recursive link back to the main page. Could this be changed to bring up the Recent Reader Comments page?

Text seems a lot smaller to my previous version on the comments page, or have I pressed something I shouldn't

Lyndon, on my PC it defaulted to a large 150% screen display, easily dialed back.

On my Samsung Galaxy android cell phone, it looks horrible. The default home page looks fine and dandy, but any tab or link I open shrinks all web pages which my myopia cannot deal with!

Yes, I can zoom in, but of course to make the text readable this way means I cannot see an entire post within the width of the screen. To read a zoomed in page now requires lots of sideways scrolling, rather than simply up and down scrolling as before when a thread of posts neatly fit into the cell phone screen width in a comfortable, readable font size.

Further tweaking required, I fancy...Soz!

On my laptop it was ok but after a few seconds went larger. On my samsung phone the writing is very small.

Nice work. No real design commentary to offer just appreciating the effort. Also offering an apology for complementing the reversion design. I'm kind of a dumbass like that.

My lenovo tablet seems ok, just a slightly larger font of a slightly different type.

As others have said, text is tiny on iPhone, only readable if I hold my phone “landscape”.

L. Mobile application on the iPhone is difficult and not user friendly. Comments are a smaller font size, the comments box off centre, only really workable if you turn your device to landscape. For this user, it’s putting me off posting.

Sorry for the issues, folks. I made the cardinal error of making an update before travelling! The main formatting issues that were affecting the interior pages (i.e. everywhere apart from the homepage) should now be resolved thanks to the restoration of one line of code that somehow got removed.

Obviously, please let me know if that's not the case and also feel free to re-state any problems that remain and I'll get to those next.

On my Samsung phone, it's still taking ages for the pages to load even when on Wifi. Been like this for weeks. On laptop it's fine.

That's strange, Joe. How long is "ages"? 30 seconds? Minutes?

Anyone else having this issue?

All good on the iPhone! Thanks Lyndon. Scratch that.

The font size is corrected but the menu icon is still occurring to the top left of each interior page, it’s preventing me from being able to scroll to the top.
