I haven't read a copy of the Mail for 30 years, or any other general newspaper. From that time back, to when I was a child, the Mail always had an anti-Everton bias that was so bad, the club apparently complained in the late 70s.

Because Samuel is insinuating that Ancelotti would gladly replace Mourinho. Why would he? Spurs are on a downward trend unless they bring someone in to give the place a lift like we have done. Jose won't see out the season. Already battering his players in the press after one game. I wouldn't want to put in 100 percent effort for him.

It feels a common placed misconception to name Spurs as a big club. So they've got in the champions league a few times. So what, brought in money but they have won nothing. Trophy cupboard is almost as bare as ours for the last 30 years.

I agree with James I think Samuel is insinuating that Mourinho is complaining about conditions in the Europa, not being Tottehham manager. To complain about being spurs manager would be crazy for him to do at this stage. So I don't take that last bit as a dig at Everton
