Premier League strikes one-year China streaming deal

Premier League football will be broadcast on Chinese TV after all this season after a deal was agreed with the media giant Tencent Sports.

The one-year contract replaces the three-year arrangement with PPTV that the league had to terminate earlier this year over non-payment.

While the exact details have not yet been released, the new deal is believed to be less than the £160m per that PPTV were supposed to be paying but kit will offset the losses for this season.

Happy days. Well, the strategy will seem to go in the right direction, with less factors to worry about. I know it’s well ahead; I’m looking forward to the new stadium and which players Carlo and Brands can attract (in January and) next summer.

Well this should guarantee the availability of dodgy streams for the season.
