Dominic Calvert-Lewin: From non-league loan to England call-up

There's a good piece on Dominic Calvert-Lewin at BBC Sport, detailing his switch from a midfield player to centre-forward and how a spell in non-league football contributed to his progress.

It confirms David Unsworth spotted him early in his time as coach at the Blades and was pivotal in getting him to Everton.

The English FA also put up a very good interview with Dom yesterday (see link below). Always a pleasure to listen to Dom. He's a very eloquent and refreshingly natural lad.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin was an Unsworth-inspired signing.

Unsey knew about Dom when he coach Sheff Utd reserves or youth team? £1.5 mill... now what? £40 to 50 mill. Wow!

Jay @Brazil you are right about Calvert-Lewin. I thought if I went that high, the Championship player brigade would lynch me!!!
