U18s fall to 4-1 defeat against Newcastle
Everton Under-18s fell to 4-1 defeat against Newcastle United at Finch Farm in a lunchtime kick-off on Saturday.
Blues skipper Lewis Warrington got on the scoresheet — the midfielder equalising on 20 minutes following the opener for the visitors — but the away side scored again before half-time, then added two late goals for a very flattering scoreline.
This game saw a very rare appearnace of Rafael Garcia, who has been on Everton's books for a while now but has not been getting any games, possibly as a result of long-term injury?
Everton U18s: Leban, Mallon, Lowey [Y:] (73' Barker), Welch [Y], Hagan, Butterfield, Quintyne, Jagne, Cannon, Warrington, Heath (59' Garcia).
Subs not Used: Stewart, Kristensen, Tierney.
