Palace could revive interest in Tosun

A return to Crystal Palace isn't out of the question for Cenk Tosun according to a report in Turkey.

Fotomac suggest that while West Bromwich Albion remain in the hunt for the striker, a return to Besiktas isn't on the cards because of his wages.

However, Palace have apparently registered their interest in Tosun who was on loan at Selhurst Park last season until he suffered a serious knee injury and had to return to Everton.

It was thought that the Eagles were keen on signing him permanently before the injury.

Meanwhile, a reunion for Tosun with Sam Allardyce at struggling West Brom continues to be mooted in the media, although it appears less likely than when the former Blues boss took over at the Hawthorns last month.

Tosun himself told Tivibu TV: “I will make a decision in a period of 2-3 weeks. Will I stay here and fight the form, or whether I will be hired to a club, score my goals again and go to EURO 2020.

“We have two main strikers with me and Calvert-Lewin, my transfer depends on the club.

"Ancelotti said that he trusts me very much. If I get a chance to play in 2-3 weeks, I'll make my own way.”
