Everton hosted Blackpool in the second round of the Lancashire Senior Cup tonight. Everton usually field a team of Under-18 players but rarely provide any coverage, and this tie is being played behind closed doors at Finch Farm.

The Lancashire FA confirmed that this is the Quarter-Final, with the kick-off set for 5 pm. Everton last won this historic trophy in 2016, their 7th win. Blackburn Rovers, the current holders, have won the trophy 20 times.There was no coverage of the game, which Blackpool won 2-0.

Hi Dave, It was behind closed doors at Finch Farm and Blackpool won 2-0. Can't find much info about it, team selection etc.

Dave, according to the Blackpool Gazzette,

CJ Hamilton scored during yesterday's behind-closed-doors outing against Everton. Blackpool's s 2-0 win in the quarter-finals of the Lancashire Senior Cup. A youth-team trialist scored Pool's other goal.
