Everton U23s saw another hat-trick from Lewis Dobbin secure a win in their second pre-season friendly, this one against Guiseley at Nethermoor Park on Saturday afternoon.
Everton were 4-1 winners, with all the goals being scored in the first half, Tom Cannon also getting on the scoresheet.
Guiseley got a goal back in the first half from a set-piece, but Unsworth's side saw the game out with no further scoring in the second half.
In the second half, Elijah Campbell and Isaac Price made way for Isaac Heath and the Number 17 [Who does not seem to have a name on the team sheet].
Everton U23s: Barrett, McAllister, Campbell (Heath), Astley, Welch, Butterfield, Mills, Dobbin, Cannon, Price (#17?), Hughes.

Nice to see Dobbin off to a cracking start, and an interesting selection in Heath as sub when so young, somebody obviously thinks highly of him, so well done on that.

Looking at the highlights of the Blackburn match, Joe Anderson came on for the first team in the 2nd half at the same time, wearing the No 7 shirt and playing left-back. Somehow I don't think he's the new Richarlison.
The No 17 for the U23s remains a mystery for now.

My first guess would have been Hagen but I see he is an unused sub.
