As expected, Everton have announced that four members of Rafael Benitez's backroom team have left the club in the wake of the Spaniard's dismissal as manager yesterday.
A club statement announced that Benitez's Assistant Manager, Francisco de Miguel Moreno; Antonio Gomez, First-team Coach and Senior Analyst; Jamie Harley, Head of Sports; and Cristian Fernandez, First-Team Rehabilitation Fitness Coach, left their roles with immediate effect yesterday.

Used to have no money, but finished in Champions League spot with a team of hard grafters. Knocked out of said tournament by cheating ref.
Manager who got team to CL playoffs leaves to jeering from selection of fans. Finally get some money when new Billionaire owner takes over.
Hire renowned continental scout to oversee transfer business and promote to Director of football. Spunk hundreds of millions down the drain on a succession of crocks, failures and alleged child botherers who were recommended by a succession of mercenary clown managers.
Hire world class manager and galactico player. Never see Galactico play in flesh as he is crocked with testicle issues. World class manager leaves.
Hire ex-manager from local rivals against the wishes of a majority of supporters who takes team to lower depths of the Premier League table.
Sack Director of football. Lose international left-back due to relationship breakdown with manager.
Sack manager 2 days afterward during an important transfer window leaving clueless Billionaire accountant and aging theatre impresario in charge of football matters.
Put ex-striker, penalised for infringement in earlier mentioned European match, in temporary charge and go chasing after one of said previous mercenary clown managers.
Watch as jeered manager takes unfashionable London club into Champions League places through astute transfer business.
I give up.

Correction: the manager who got the team to the CL playoffs (with negative goal difference) was actually cheered to the rafters at the end of his last game in charge, despite 11 years of mostly negative football.
I was almost alone as I left the ground at the final whistle that day, not wanting to join in the sycophantic worship of the man who turned us into plucky little Everton at the behest of his moon-faced mentor sitting in the directors box.
He wont be taking his unfashionable London club into the Champions League at the end of season either.

You share a romantic view of certain managers' time with the club.
