Nottingham Forest U18s 0 - 1 Everton U18s

A single goal before half-time saw Everton U18s prevail over Nottingham Forest in their 14th game of the U18 Premier League (North) season.

This was a replay of the game that was abandoned last November. Francis Okoronkwo returns to the U18s after getting his first start for the U23s against Leicester City last week.

Everton went ahead through Halid Djankpata before the break. It was a pretty even contest with Everton's defence holding firm throughout to seal the win,

Everton U18s: Leban, Quintyne, Wright (87' Jagne), Jones (57'Wilson), Tierney, Butterfield, Djankpata [Y:78'], Metcalfe [Y:35'], Sherif [Y:82'], Lawrence, Okoronkwo (70' Heath).
Subs not Used: Nash, Barker.

The game finished 1-0 to the Blues who finished strongly with four shots in the last fifteen minutes from. Wilson, Djankpata, Sherrif and Okoronkwo, this win will move them away from the bottom of the league.

Courtesy of another Everton website, I’m glad Michael you never told the inquisitive nosy Parker who the website is last night, that’s out little secret!!

Well done, U18s too. Some good players in this team.

I heard a suggestion that Lawrence was getting tapped up by other clubs. Any news in that?

And what sort of a player is the scorer Djankpata? He seems to be a regular at this level.
