Everton U18s were back in action for their penultimate game of the season, away to Stoke City, who secured a narrow win with a late goal.
Everton youngsters are looking to finish in the top half of the table after a mixed campaign which has seen them introduce a lot of very young players. They remain in 7th.
Everton U18s: Nash, Quintyne, Wright, Samuels-Smith, Tierney, Apter [Y:11'], Barker, Djankpata [Y:70'] (72' Mallon), Ebere, Smikle-James (65' Coughlan (84' Jagne)), Heath.
Subs not Used: Graham, Cahill.

Now hopefully fucus will switch to development, ready for first team football. Focused, determined, athletic, skilful, team players.
It may take another 5 year's but it's the right approach for long term benefit.

Hopefully if that is happening then at some point the results may improve and winning is a good habit to get in to but positive development is the goal.

One more game to go for the U18s against Nottinghamshire Forest who haven't lost a game since February and beat Liverpool 1-0 today.
