The coldest match I recall attending was when we stuffed Man City 4-0 at Goodison when I was a kid in 1986 and Gary Lineker scored a hat-trick. It was baltic that night.

You're absolutely right. I had a look after the episode, because I also had in my mind the defeat at Pride Park where Andy Hinchliffe saw red. In mitigation, I was 7 years old and growing accustomed to a few disappointing away days!

I think also 0-0 v Leicester at home a live game around New Year under Walter Smith. Another cold evening made worse by being a poor game.
