Everton U18s held at Leeds
Leeds United U18s 1 - 1 Everton U18s
Everton Under-18s finished the first half of their first season under Leighton Baines with a draw at Leeds on Saturday afternoon.
Everton, who started brightly, eventually broke the deadlock through Martin Sherif 9 minutes before the half-time interval. The goal was the Dutch forward’s fourth in nine appearances so far this season.
And it looked like the young Blues would be returning to Merseyside with all 3 points after a good second half until the home side scored with 2 minutes of normal time remaining.
