Everton U21s travel to Leigh Sports Village where they lost to Manchester Utd U21s in Premier League 2; kick-off is at 12 noon.
Only four players on the bench for the Blues but Seamus Coleman made his first public runout since sustaining a serious knee injury against Leicester City last season. Everton went behind early on and gave up a second goal on the half-hour mark.
Coleman came off at half-time and Everton pulled a goal back through Sean McAllister after the break but the home side scored a third before the end to consign Paul Tait’s side to another defeat.
