Despite the departure of a number of expensive signings this summer, and no high-cost signings, Everton still rank 9th in the Premier League if the current squad is valued according to transfer fees paid.
A new report from the CIES Football Observatory shows the current squad of players at Manchester Utd have cost the most: £991.7M, slightly more than the £977.9M spent by Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Everton’s squad come 9th in the Premier League (and 14th in the world) at a total cost of £360.4M.
