Everton U21s 1 – 3 West Bromwich Albion U21s
Everton U21s lost to West Brom in their Premier League 2 game against West Brom at Haig Avenue in Southport tonight.
There was a suggestion that Dele Alli would play tonight but he is not in the starting line-up or on the incomplete 4-man bench. However, Andre Gomes starts again in his bid for match fitness.
Everton scored first through Martin Sherif. But the lead lasted less than a minute and the young Baggies followed that a few minutes later with the go-ahead goal.
Gomes came off at half-time, with the visitors later getting a third to seal the win.
Everton U21s: Barnsley, Dixon, John, Astley, Jones [Y:33′] (61′ Moonan), McAllister, Beaumont-Clark, Gomes [Y:38′] (46′ Bates), Sherif (46′ Morgan), Djankpata, Heath.
