Everton took on Bolton tonight at the Toughsheet Community Stadium but could not produce a single goal.
Sean Dyche started with a line-up mostly of first-teamers for the third pre-season friendly in front of a surprisingly large turnout: 13,242.
There were good opportunities for Dobbin, McNeil and Young in the first half, but it remained goalless at the interval. A number of U21 players were switched in at the interval and during the second half without influencing the final score.
