Malik Mothersille, the former Chelsea player who spent a few weeks on trial for the U21s recently, has joined Peterborough United of League One.
Everton Under-21s ran the rule over the young striker last month following his decision to turn down a new contract at Chelsea at the end of last season. The 19-year-old made three substitute appearances for Paul Tait’s side against U21 teams from Liverpool, Middlesbrough and Brighton in Premier League 2.
The teenager scored a double for Chelsea U21s against Peterborough in the EFL Trophy last season and has penned a long-term deal.
