Man City in more trouble: handball, penalty red card, 4-0 down.
But Haaland pulls one back.
Meanwhile, fantastic strike from Eze gives Arsenal the lead.

Chelsea and Man City have both been volleyed out of the competition
Although PSR definitely helped to stop certain clubs, challenging the current cartel in the Premier League, it does look like it has had a detrimental effect on the strength of the English clubs in European football's major competition.

City conceded 5, Spurs 7, with both Chelsea and Newcastle conceding 8. 5+7+8+8 = 28 goals conceded by four English teams in the eight games.
The masters make the rules for the wisemen and the fools, but sometimes those rules can backfire on them.
Something needs to happen because everyone I speak to now says that the Premier League is fucking boring. I have even had Scandos, who travel on mass to this city to watch our neighbours, telling me exactly the same thing.
So, in my head and in my heart, I am waiting for someone at Everton, to realise this and suddenly acquire the same desire, passion and belief as the fantastically fanatical Evertonians, and make The Toffees rise again!

I just don't think there are many top defenders about in the Premier League. Full back is a desert, whilst most centre-backs are lulled into thinking they're better than they are because most of the strikers are pretty poor. No movement, no skill, 2 vs 1. It is a shock when they come up against genuine class.
There are lots of good players, but the lack of world class players is stark. Chelsea have spent £1.5B and I can't see one world-class player in the squad.

Our defenders struggle to play against direct, fast football.
Not direct in the long ball sense but in the sense of how fast top european teams get the ball back to front.
They play every week against, slow square and backwards "recycling" whatever the fuck that means.

That was my biggest disappointment with regards watching Everton, especially earlier on in the season when Jack Grealish, was fit John.
Grealish, NDiaye, KDH or Alkaraz, should not have been used so rigidly, imo, especially when were playing with three and a half stay at home defenders
European style, fast interchanging, counter attacking football played on the floor, I definitely believe that the premier league hasnt been so r we ode open and distinctly average for years.
Its definitely time to get our coats on and get moving, thats how I see it anyway.

Richardson 'hero' at anfield, not even in Spurs squad(?) Was he an unused Sub? unless that is he had a Moyesesque 'injury' - there's got to be a deal to be done there?
Edit; yay edit button!
