Brighton U21s 5 - 0 Everton U21s

The less said about this one, the better, as the Young Blues crash on their travels to Brighton in Sunday's Premier League 2 game at the Amex Elite Football Performance Centre.

They had done well enough by the break, giving up a goal just before half-time. The second goal came just before the hour mark and it looked like a 2-0 loss up until 5 minutes before the end... when Brighton scored three more goals.

Everton U21s:  Lukjanciks, Samuels-Smith, Van Schoor, Welch, Thomas, Bates (70' Davis), Boakye (48' Beaumont-Clark), Gomez  (59' Benjamin), Loney (59' Matos), Akarakiri, Pita.

Subs not Used: Gospel-Eze.

Up one day — Saturday when everyone was happy — crashing down the next when most of our future stars(?) failed miserably!

Although it must be said there was quite a lot of young players in that under21 squad!

The motto is — Keep on smiling and the whole world smiles with you!

Lot of games being played.

Must be around now that they'll be finding out if new contracts are coming, or certainly living in a period of uncertainty.
