Iliman Ndiaye joins Everton training camp in Germany

All gone quiet on the transfer.

Personally, I don't think he will move in this transfer window.

I've heard he has done a lot of soul-searching because he loves playing in front of O'Brien.

And also he loves giving both Barry and Beto the bullets to do their stuff... but it definitely wouldn't surprise me if he leaves.

I have read Everton placed a £75M price tag on him. Maybe Al-Hilal will shake their thawbs finding a few more million.

I imagine Ndiaye found out that Man Utd and Man City are not going to pay that for now.

No European club will pay more than £50M.

Is he also aware that these bullets supplied to Barry and Beto, while being effective, will not work in firearms with their firing pins removed? :-)

Makes you wonder if Everton offered him an improved contract and if the stumbling block was the transfer fee that could trigger his release.

Might be the first time I've heard of anyone turning down a pay increase for no good reason unless he's just popped in to say goodbye.

Normally, I'd be disappointed with a transfer falling through where we'd be getting paid way over the odds.

However, I've no confidence he'd be properly replaced, or that the monies would all be reinvested, so if he stays, that's just fine with me. We can always sell him next summer.

Ndiaye would have signed a new improved contract. But apparently his agent wanted a stupidly low release fee. The club said No.

His agent wanted a release fee of £43M, while Everton value him at £75M.

As a result, he still earns a base salary of £45k a week. Al-Hilal reportedly are willing to pay him £271k a week, tax free, while the top clubs he aims to join will match that salary or our valuation.

He should fire his agent.

Ndiaye is on £45k per week at Everton, and that's for the remaining 3 years.

I reckon he's either going to sign a much improved contract or look to leave now, because he and his agent know the millions he's missing out on now, and for the next 3 years.

I heard a rumour that he said he would only return to training if Everton were prepared to give him a transfer, so either that is a myth or the club have agreed to grant him a transfer.

He reminds me of Duncan McKenzie in that he gets you off your seat with his mazy dribbles but is ineffective for 80% of the game. To be fair, he does help out defensively by chasing down the ball.

So, if he has the right attitude, I would say he is a keeper but, if the rumours are true, then he is a bad influence on the squad and we need to find a replacement asap.

Probably his agent made him promises that Ndiaye now realises can’t be delivered.

£45000 x 52=£2,340,000.Christy, and then the taxman takes away 45%, leaving him with around £1.4 million, per annum, or £270000 x 52 =£14,040,000.00, and because it is tax free, he would get to keep it all. (Just three years to earn close to that £43 million, Steve)

Ten years on his current wage at Everton, amounts to a similar total to just one year in Saudi Arabia, which is just absolutely incredible.

His father said he’s not going to Saudi, but in the same reports, his father never said that he would be staying at Everton. He mentioned playing for his country, he talked about him wanting to achieve great things, but not once did he mention that his son wanted to stay at Everton.

We will see what happens but if I’m being honest, when you look at those figures then I will be very surprised if Iliman, stays with Everton?

Lukaku is being linked by the media with a transfer to a team in the States.

If the price was right and he was willing, he could be a useful addition... his workrate might not meet with Moyes's expectation but he is a finisher.

Training kits there's normally a bit of something. We've been left with navy, black, grey and one really random orange one..

I also thought him saying that his son was going nowhere was more in relation to him going to Saudi. We will see.

I would love him to stay. He drops back well, has speed and skill.

His goal at Sunderland last season was one of the best individual goals in Europe.

He will now be fresh and ready to go when the Palace game comes around... unless of course the right bid comes in and he wants to go.

The dosh will of course be a factor, but does he want to stay another season playing for Moyes?
