Here are two more names that have been added to those already doing the rounds in the Rumour Mill this long hot summer... and I don't think we've had them featured yet:

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (West Ham United)

Following West Ham’s relegation from the Premier League, their 28-year-old right-back is predictably being linked with a top-flight exit. With the Hammers reportedly looking to offload his wages in a fire sale, whispers have emerged linking David Moyes with a move for his former Manchester United defender to fill that old gaping hole at right-back.

This one reeks of agent placement to drive up interest. Wan-Bissaka has already been touted to half the Premier League and beyond — from Fulham and Brentford to Arsenal and Lazio. West Ham are reportedly holding out for a fee in the £15M–£25M bracket for a player who struggled for consistency during a miserable 2 years in East London.

As Everton's elite recruitment team appear to have been stymied in their quest to actively pursue Celtic’s Alistair Johnston to address the full-back situation, perhaps it's not beyond the realms of possibility that attention has now shifted to Wan-Bissaka.

Brennan Johnson (Crystal Palace)

A few spurious reports have surfaced trying to link Everton with the Welsh international, suggesting Moyes is looking for additional pace on the flanks.

Johnson only just moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Crystal Palace in the January window for £35M on a long-term contract. Oliver Glasner brought him in as a flagship signing, and he’s a key fixture at Selhurst Park.

Seems unlikely that Palace are selling, and Everton aren't dropping £40M+ on a player who moved 6 months ago. We’ve already committed well over £20M to make Tyrique George’s move permanent alongside bringing in Christian Nørgaard and Hayden Hackney.

The Facebook page West Ham United Live posted this earlier today, and it has now popped up about two hours ago on something called Threads.com:

Everton are in advanced talks to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from West Ham.
Personal terms have already been agreed with the right-back.
David Moyes is keen on the move, with West Ham expecting Wan-Bissaka to leave this window.

Brennan Johnson swap deal for McNeil looks interesting.

I would take Wan Bissaka and Brennan Johnson and offload McNeil for either of them any day of the week.

And in the same breath, I'd tell Celtic to swivel regarding Whathisname Johnson, fucking 28-year-old journeyman.

Held to ransom by an equivalent Championship club over a Championship player. Pffft!!

Wan-Bissaka? Is that the best our top-notch recruitment team can come up with?

When you see better right-backs have been transferred all over Europe. Unbelievable!!!

Add Krepin Diatta to the list of our targets. Right back for Senegal and Monaco, free agent. Started every game at the World Cup. Don't know if he can defend but his pace is spectacular.

Brennan Johnson a total bust for Palace but I've always loved his pace, and I'd be delighted to see him resurrect his career with us. However, after the way Palace screwed Dwight over, I can't believe he'd even consider them. And wouldn't Megan dump him flat if he did?

Brennan Johnson of Crystal Palace in a swap deal with Dwight McNeil has been touted.

Any thoughts on the veracity of this from GiveMeSport.com?

Paul,

I think Wan-Bissaka would be a good signing. Have a look through these videos. He's hard to get past, can tackle, and is handy going forward. Square peg in a square hole:

Wan-Bissaka all day.

Should have got him before he went to West Ham for a pittance.

I agree.

I've seen him play for Man Utd and for the Hammers and I rate him.

Moyes knows Wan-Bissaka inside out.
He appears a decent right back to me. Prefer him to Johnson from Celtic.
Brennan Johnson on the other hand not for me, failed at Spurs, failed at Palace. Sell McNeil make a better purchase.
