Never going to be the answer to our toothless striker force. I make that four new strikers we need. God help Moyes and BK.

With no money and, as you say, Kunai, a toothless striker force, we need some imagination in January. Donovan on loan would give us a lift but how about something more radical.

Adebayour looks finished at City so what about a loan to the end of the season? I don't like his attitude but we could never afford him permanently anyway. He does usually start well at a new club, he wants to impress any future buyer and he would certainly shake us up.

Get rid of Vic and put that £30k per week towards Adebayour. Surely City would be happy to make up the rest, after all, we aren't exactly a threat to them.

Round, Moyes and Kenwright are going nowhere so we need something positive and imaginative from them.

There is the same chance of Moyes showing imagination, as there is of Matt Cardle NOT becoming just another yelping, Stan Laurel-haired, dot-eyed 'I Ieurve you girl' sheet of 'musical' wallpaper.

Andy ? Forget Adebayor, he's marginally better then that doofus Jo. However, I'm sure he's not that daft to join a team on the decline. As crap as he is, there's no way we would match his expectations plus he'd want in excess of £100k a week. It's totally out of the question.

Our level is the likes of Kris Commons from Derby or Adel Taarabt of QPR... as decent as I would say they are, we still be wouldn't able to lure them.

He is fine, he was taken off as a precaution because they didn't want to send him back to us injured. Moyes should start him with Beckford against Man City, we should take the game to City and not sit back with 1 up front, especially if that 1 is Saha.

It is a shame for the lad. He had a lot of potential, but not everybody has the capability to physically be a Premier League footballer. Perhaps this is the case for Vaughan.

Kunal (#5) ? Are you talking about the same Adebayor who has a 1-in-2 ratio for City and was an absolute monster for Arsenal? He would literally be our best striker since Gary Lineker.

I would be delighted if we signed him on loan... can't see it happening though, he'll probably be off to some crummy obscure foreign side, AC Milan or someone.

James is his own worst enemy, the way he plays brings about a greater risk of injury. Lots of pace, lots of aggression and never say die. He's been unlucky, but unless he changes the way he plays, it's not going to change the injuries.

Unfortunately changing the way he plays would also take out all the attributes that have us all wondering "what if..?"

Years back when they were just emerging from the reserves and they were bezzy mates, I always wanted Vic and Vaughn to be our front two, but under Moyes it looks even further from happening than ever. I always wonder what a Royle type side with those two up front would have done.
