January Sales

January always seems to be quite slow for us and I don?t expect this year will be any different with regards to players coming in. Vaughan will be 'like a new signing' on his return... Probably some defenders in on loan, that sort of thing.
However, this year seems like it will be quite active outwards. What with Pienaar and Anichebe out of contract in the summer, it would be scandalous if they left for free then, so I expect they'll be on their way (even though I?d prefer Pienaar signed). Rumors of Yak to WHU are also popping their heads up again.
Is this a chance to get rid of some deadwood or simply players jumping overboard? Personally, I hope it's the former and we can freshen up the squad a bit by getting rid of some of the hangers on. Sales revenue and saved wages might even help us spend more than £1M in Summer.

I think Jack is a promising young player. That's it. He is, in my opinion, the most overrated player I have seen in a Blue shirt. (My first game was just over 20 years ago.)
Anyway, back on topic. I personally have given up hope on us actually signing anyone in January. Any January. If the tabloids are to be believed then we would be foolish to spurn the chance to sign Kranjcar. Maybe get Landon on loan... I don't think Donavon is superb but at least he might freshen things up.
Apart from those two, I can't see which established "name" players we could possibly get. No money, no European football on the horizon...
We should definitely fuck "Big", crocked, clumsy, clueless Vic off. Who the fuck is he to turn down a contract when he has done fuck all in his entire career bar a handful of pretty good games? Get whatever we can for him i say!!
At least Moyes recognises the need for strikers. Also hoping for Donovan, and Krancjar possibly in exchange for Pienaar. Striker has to be the priority though.
Yak for Noble
Saha, Bily & Anichebe for Bystrov
Pienaar for Kranjcar
Donovan on loan
Saha, Yak, Bily, Osman, Hibbert and Anichebe.
In -
Massive contract for Pienaar and Donovan.
Sack Moyes, Student protest against anonymous Bill.
Enough is enough, same old predictable shit football needs a massive shake up only new men can bring.
I'd sell Saha (useless), Heitinga (doesn't want to be here and isnt a midfielder so even if he did he's wasted), Bily (if you won't play him sell him), Anichebe (greedy fat cunt), would only consider selling Yakubu if we could get closer to 5/6m and had a replacement lined up.
None of its going to happen though, this is the new Everton way - disappointment year after year
Here is what I think we can hope to recoup in a clear-out
Saha £200,000 to the bloody Quatari league or somewhere
Anichebe £300,000
Yakubu £1.5 million
Bily £5 million
Pienaar £500,000
I don't believe we will sell Bily. so that gives us a whopping £2.5 million to splash out on the world-class striker who can fire us into Europe. good luck Davey Boy.
There's more than ten million for the kitty. Then, If we do our business suitably late in the window, we could miss out on all potential replacements and hope the fans don't wonder where that money went come the summer! Eh Bill?!
I wouldn't mind us going for Dempsey. He is aggressive, wins balls, can be creative and gets goals. Furthermore, he can play up front of in mid.
Put him in and make it a requirement for us to play.. gasp 2 strikers.. then maybe we can win.
Anichebe can jog on if he doesn't want his contract.
Heitinga is undoubtedly a good center back but I see no desire in his play or his actions, get rid.
Bily I would like to see stay I think he could have a lot more to offer if he played centrally but I don't know where his chance is going to come from.
These would be the only people most likely to make any moves in January.
As a paying customer, and not sycophant for these two clowns, I'd like some value for my hard earned. A disgrace that you still can't see the obvious staring you in the face.
FA Cup Final (luckily beating the Manc reserves who didn't want to be there), an embarrassing and expensive brief flirt with Europe. We haven't actually won anything in this time get real will you.
We reached the glass ceiling when we managed top half finishes due to other Clubs falling off the wagon towards the end of seasons but now others have strengthened we are not in the same league as Tottenham, City, Redshite etc ? not to mention the Mancs, Chelski, Arsenal ? and we never will be with these two clowns.
I have said for years Moyes should go and was laughed at as the lunatics in our asylum told me he was one of the best Managers in the League. We all know he is Walter Smith in disguise.
In: Krancjar and a hot-shot in-form stiker). That would cost about what? £6 million nett. We can only hope.
Donovan loan if he wants it; I'd sell Bily to fund a long-term deal.
