Blues feature in Belgium-Croatia draw

All three of Everton's representatives featured in the 1-1 draw between Belgium and Croatia this evening but Nikica Jelavic had already been substituted by the time Marouane Fellaini and Kevin Mirallas entered the fray later in the second half.

Elsewhere, Leighton Baines made his second successive start to England and was joined by Phil Jagielka in what was ultimately a frustrating 1-1 draw with Ukraine at Wembley.

Frank Lampard spared the Three Lions a ignominious defeat with a late penalty; Baines was withdrawn with 18 minutes to go in favour of winger Ryan Bertrand as Roy Hodgson chased the game.

Good to see all our international representatives come through it unscathed.

I'm not bothered about their performances. Better for us if they don't shine.
