Everton youngsters frozen out

Everton Under-18s will not play Port Vale on Tuesday evening in the 4th Round of the FA Youth Cup as the game has been called off due top a frozen pitch.

The match has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 22nd January at 7pm.

Exactly, Nick. If the Moyesiah had have trained them properly and not been so negative then the pitch wouldn't have frozen over and these kids would be getting valuable game time.

On a more puzzling note, according to many Twebbers, in Baines and Pienaar we have the best left wing in the PL. If that is the case why does Jelavic spend so much time patrolling their part of the pitch and by doing so clog up that area with extra defenders.

Dick. Interesting point about the extra defenders. Good observation.

Apparently the latest stats show Baines more than 20 assists ahead of anyone in Europe.

Less seriously... Jelavic is not comfortable with left wing crosses. This is true. So, when you think about it... if goes to the left wing, he doesn't get any!
