Blues will rebuff Fenerbahçe attempts to lure Heitinga

Everton are unlikely to be tempted by a "surprise" £5.5m bid by Fenerbahçe for John Heitinga according to the Echo.

David Moyes is keen to keep hold of all his current players, with the exception of Joseph Yobo, whose move to the Turkish club inexplicably continues to rumble on without conclusion despite assurances that only the final details need to be decided.

Heitinga is also reportedly the subject of interest from Inter Milan and Spartak Moscow but he did assure fans on evertontv on Saturday that he had no intention of leaving the Blues any time soon. The Dutchman is contracted to Everton until the summer of 2014.

Elsewhere, the man some of the tabloids claimed as Everton's target to replace Heitinga, Geoff Cameron, has signed for Stoke City from Houston Dynamo.

After all the fucking around from Fenerbahçe in the last two seasons, they should just direct any emails from them to the SPAM folder and not bother reading them.

They'll probably end up buying Yobo off us, then offering us Yobo back in a straight swap deal for Heitinga.

Seeing as Everton apparently offered Heitinga to Fenerbahçe, if the price is right, he's off. More spin from the Echo.

The silly season is well and truly on. Reports of Baines, Heitinga and Fellaini constantly "on their way out", whereas there were no stories about Cahill going to the US.

I like the way that the value of Baines has ranged from £8m to £17m, depending on which section of the gutter press you read. If City value Kolorov at £18m then Bainesy is worth £25m – Man Utd will not pay that.
