Kenwright clash precludes move for Baines?
The poor relationship between Ferguson and the Everton chairman Bill Kenwright could be an impediment to United signing Leighton Baines as a replacement — a move that fell through this summer.

It would be interesting to see what (if anything) Matt Traynor heard about this...

"Despite those trading losses, there's been virtually no increase in debt" - how much did we dump off the wage bill and got in transfer fees? 86p per pound, stay way fans, increase in lawn mower parts blah, blah, blah

I do think Man Utd will come in for him at some point (way too much smoke for no fire, and this is how Utd do business - slow burning) and that if the money's good enough he'll go.
After all, Baines deserves a cabinet full of medals doesn't he?

I agree. Baines is in my humble opinion one of, if not "the", best left back in the world.
If we didn't make CL this year, like Arteta, I wouldnt begrudge them for one minute..
The guy ooooooozes class.

If that's the sign of a poor relationship, imagine the dealings if they got on like a house on fire?
