Another Jelavic at Everton?

11/12/2012 | Comments (9)
Everton have apparently taken Tihomir Jelavic, brother of striker Nikica, on trial for a few weeks.

The 21-year-old defender, currently with GOŠK in Bosnia Herzegovina, will train with the Blues' reserves to see if he could make the grade in England.

Excellent piece of business. Regardless of how good he is or isn't, it'll keep Nikica happy, at least.

Not if he gets signed up and sits on the bench for 2 years it won't!

Who knew he even had a brother, let alone a footy playing one.

Apparently 45 of his last 50 tackles have been won with the first touch.

We should do the same with feli brother and then we could sell him to chelsea for 30 mill and tell them we got confused... Worth a punt.

Jelavic's mum will get a trial next... mind you, that could be an improvement on Heitinga.

Has he fallen out with Mirallas yet?

This tactic didnt exactly go to plan when Blackburn signed Roque Santa Cruz's brother.

How well would the tactic had worked if Wenger had ended up signing Kolo Toure's brother though?

I thought Chelski's signing of the other Hazard, bringing their attacking midfield quota almost as high as our senior players in total, was quite funny...I would be very very surprised if he ever started a Prem game for them.
