Everton are supposedly interested in Heerenveen striker Alfreð Finnbogason who has notched 19 goals in 22 games in the Eredivisie this season.

The Mail report that the Blues have joined Aston Villa and West Ham in the chase for the 24 year-old who joined the Dutch side from Helsingborgs in Sweden last summer where he was their top scorer with 12 goals in 17 games.

Villa! Looking like they are heading to the Championship based on current form. Still maybe they'll take this Icelandic lad and sell Benteke or Agbonlahor to us!

Coincides with Everton selling the early birds for next season. Then again it is the Mail so it's crap anyway.

Nothing to see here.......

Even if we were interested the club wouldn't put a bid in until the last day of the transfer window and end up being gazumped.

I would not pay big money for Finnbogason. Remember our luck with people from the Icelands. Bjarni Vidarsson, and I think there were others too.

I just can not see Finnbogason making it in the premier League.

In true Blue style, we will look at numerous players through the summer and buy somebody a week before the new season starts.

One report suggests Moyes may try Jelavic at centre back.

The side of my house has a better first touch than Agbonlahor.

Shopping at Iceland is a step up from Park Foods.

There will have to be an extension to the bench for another warmer...

under moyes, why would we want a striker? he will only ruin him like he does to everyone else. If the lad as sense, he will ignore any interest from us. His future is at stake.
