Everton linked with swoop for De Vrij
Everton are favourites to sign Dutch defender Stefan de Frij from Feyenoord this summer, according to a report in the Liverpool Echo.
David Moyes has apparently sent scouts to watch the the 21 year-old international on more than one occasion this season and could lodge a bid in the region of £5m to £6m when the transfer window opens.
De Vrij has been a regular in the Netherlands setup this season and has already captained his club side despite his young age.

The elephant in the room with this and every other rumour is that they suggest Moyes is planning for next season; when he has yet to commit himself to a new contract.
I wonder what the actual date is on which his contract actually ends?

I may be wrong, but for some reason June 1st springs to mind. Don't know why though.

Why have Feyenoord said that no-one has made an enquiry... hype, hype, and more hype to fill newspapers.

The Elephant in the room Steve(#001) is that we can be linked with every player under the sun, we just haven't got the money, So to Michael & Lyndon FFS link us with Messi or Ronaldo or the entire squad of Borussia Dortmund, unreality rules @ TW

Now, now David - "unreality rules @ TW". He wants the team to do well as much as the rest of us. No way to talk about Ross.

Did everyone else watch the Moyes interview regarding the additional revenue each club will get? He mentioned £60 million, is that over a number of years or this close season?

Another defender, great. We'll pay the full 6m and the guy will play twenty minutes in our opening round league cup defeat and then thirty minutes league football for the rest of the season.

Moyes says "the squad is aging" and every newspaper and his dog claims we're signing every 18-23 year old with a little talent.
Just for fun, Moyes should say we need a new tea-lady...
