Everton will take on Real Madrid

Everton's opponents in their next game of the International Champions Cup will be Real Madrid after the Spanish side beat LA Galaxy 3-1 to advance in the upper tier of the competition. The game kicks off in Los Angeles at 5:06pm PDT on Saturday evening (1:00am BST on Sunday morning in UK).

The tournament organisers' website initially claimed that the Everton-Real clash will be match 6, scheduled to kick off at 7.30pm PDT. The Spanish club had, however, requested to play their second game at 5pm irrespective of whether they had won or lost to LA Galaxy today.

Meanwhile, earlier in Indianapolis, Chelsea beat Inter Milan 2-0 and they will play AC Milan in the next round on Sunday. The respective winners of these two games will meet in the final on Wednesday.
